On the eve of the closed construction and reconstruction of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, on the morning of December 28, the Party branch of Jiutian Hi-Tech organized a special party member activity—walking 8 kilometers, walking through the places that strung together the memory of the bridge, and witnessing the return of the bridge in its footsteps !
Since its opening to traffic in 1968, in the past 50 years, the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge has carried the family, love and precious memories of countless Chinese people. In October 2016, the bridge was completely closed for renovation. On December 29, 2018, it will be reopened to traffic with a brand-new and beautiful attitude and return to public life.
Before the official reopening to traffic, the Yangtze River Bridge held a three-day public open day. At 9 o'clock in the morning on the 28th, the party members and comrades of the Jiutian High-tech Party Branch were ready to go, and walked towards the bridge with excitement. We use our footprints to measure the 50 years of the bridge, looking for the footprints of the bridge's growth.
Party members and comrades who participated in the event said, "Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge has witnessed China's 50 years of independent and self-improvement development, which also includes the continuous changes of 40 years of reform and opening up." As a great achievement of New China, the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge bears the memory of several generations of Chinese people. It is a kind of spiritual inheritance and strength inheritance. Through this party building activity, the majority of party members have enhanced their sense of mission and responsibility, and expressed that they want to stand on their posts and march towards a new journey with more enthusiasm.
