The seven-day public announcement of the acceptance results for the 2022 provincial engineering technology research center and provincial academician workstation projects has now concluded. The “Jiangsu Molecular Sieve Membrane and Membrane Process Engineering Technology Research Center” (hereinafter referred to as the “Center”), constructed under the auspices of Jiangsu Jiutian High-Tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jiutian High-Tech), has passed the provincial engineering technology research center project acceptance, with an “acceptable” rating.

The center boasts a highly skilled R&D team with a well‑balanced talent mix, closely aligned with the nation’s overarching goals of energy conservation and carbon reduction. Focusing on critical technical challenges in the development and application of high‑performance molecular sieve membranes, and targeting the purification of organic solvents in the chemical industry, the center undertakes a comprehensive suite of activities, including membrane material development, membrane product deployment, and the integration of membrane separation technologies. To date, it has established a 1,000‑square‑meter independent laboratory and a 2,000‑square‑meter pilot‑scale research facility. Meanwhile, Nanjing University of Technology serves as the technical support platform, providing 1,000 square meters of workspace for building the innovation platform, thereby facilitating close industry–university–research collaboration between the two parties.
▲Project Construction Status Report
During the project construction period, a total of patents were filed. Twenty-two patents, one computer software copyright, participation in the development of one “Leader” industry standard, and one award at the 23rd China Patent Awards. The project “Large-Scale Preparation of High-Performance Molecular Sieve Membranes and Integrated Membrane Separation–Dehydration Technology” was awarded the First Prize of the 2019 Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award!
To swiftly adapt to the market environment, Jiutian High-Tech has formulated The strategic goal is to become a leader in solvent‑separation solutions centered on molecular sieve membranes. By effectively integrating resources from multiple sources, the center actively collaborates with relevant universities, research institutes, and enterprises both domestically and internationally, fostering a high‑caliber R&D and industrialization team that operates across multiple levels. It aims to achieve breakthroughs in key engineering technologies—including high‑performance molecular sieve membranes, membrane modules and complete sets of equipment, as well as integrated and coupled process technologies—develop proprietary molecular sieve membrane preparation and application technologies, vigorously advance the engineering implementation of molecular sieve membrane technology, promote the commercialization of these membranes, and enhance international competitiveness. The center strives to deliver technological breakthroughs in coal chemical, petrochemical, and fine chemical industries, establish corresponding purification units and equipment for organic solvents, and contribute to the green and low‑carbon development of China’s chemical sector.
