Jiutian High-Tech Participates in the China Inorganic Membrane Industry Development Summit Forum

On November 11, the 2023 China Inorganic Membrane Industry Development Summit Forum was held in Nanjing. Qing Jun, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Jiutian High-Tech Co., Ltd., attended the forum and delivered a keynote speech.
The opening ceremony of this forum was chaired by Wang Jiwen, Secretary-General of the China Membrane Industry Association. Attending the event were 150 delegates, including Bu Jian, Deputy District Mayor of Pukou District, Nanjing; Zheng Genjiang, Chairman of the China Membrane Industry Association; Li Daobin, Director of the Pukou District Science and Technology Bureau; Ren Siling, Deputy Director of the Pukou District Science and Technology Bureau; Gu Xuehong, Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering at Nanjing University of Technology; Professor Wang Tonghua of Dalian University of Technology; Yang Naitao, Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering at Shandong University of Technology, and others.

As a domestic pioneer in the independent R&D and industrialization of molecular-sieve pervaporation membranes, our company’s Deputy General Manager Qing Jun delivered a keynote address titled “Scalable Preparation Technology and Applications of Molecular-Sieve Membranes for Organic Solvent Dehydration.”

Qingjun provided an in-depth presentation and engaged in a lively discussion, covering the company’s development journey, molecular sieve pervaporation membrane technology, and relevant application cases. He explained that molecular sieve pervaporation membranes represent a cutting-edge separation technology, offering advantages such as low energy consumption, high efficiency, minimal environmental impact, and a straightforward process. After more than a decade of research, development, and commercialization, this technology has been widely adopted in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries for the recovery of organic solvents. Its applications encompass the dehydration of dozens of solvents, including methanol, ethanol, and isopropanol, with nearly 500 industrial-scale installations now in operation, processing over 2 million tons of solvents annually. This has significantly advanced the domestic inorganic pervaporation membrane industry.
